BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Representatives of the BioCrossroads Board are senior leadership from the state's industry, academic and government sectors. The expertise found in the BioCrossroads Board of Directors is essential to BioCrossroads'success - they know the competition and challenges in an ever-changing life sciences industry. Our Board is truly united in their common commitment to finding even more ways to collaborate, sustain investments and build upon the energy and assets we already have. The BioCrossroads Board of Directors is perhaps Indiana's best life sciences asset of all.

The board is chaired by Dr. August (Gus) Watanabe, former president of Lilly Research Labs. He was a full-time faculty member of the department of medicine of Indiana University School of Medicine from 1972 to 1990, when he joined Lilly. From 1983 to 1990, he was professor and chairman of the department of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
